5 Day Challenge #2
Hello, hello! It's day #2 of your 5 day scrapbooking challenge! I have another fun idea for you to help stretch those creative muscles!
Today we are going to make our own background paper! There are tons of ways to do this and I am going to share 2 examples here with you.
Let's get started!
You're going to need:
- a base piece of cardstock to work on
- patterned paper or cardstock (you can use scraps here too!)
- punches or scissors
- stamps or markers
Grab your punches or scissors and and let's make shapes!
You can punch shapes or cut shapes of your choice using scissors. You can use patterned paper, cardstock or both from your pile of scraps. Once you have several of them you are ready to start making your page background!

Here is example using circles and solid cardstock:

Here is another example using a different shape and scraps from my scrap stash:

Let's move on to another option!
For option number #2 we are going to play around with stamps! You won't need many, but a few different sizes make for a neat background! One single stamp will work fine too! Just make use of what you have. If you do not have any stamps, no big deal! Grab a few markers and doodle, doodle, doodle! Flowers work great! Swirly circles are fun! Even random squiggles will work! Our goal is to create a background by filling up our empty space. Don't stress though, just have fun with it!

Ok, it's your turn! Time to make a page background! Use these ideas or one of your own and scrap a page or two!
Here are a couple of my finished pages using these examples:
